About usIt was January 1973 and in those days flat plastic was the dream raw material with metallic stamping and silk screening decoration. Our highest priced retail item was $.69 in hot stamped rectangles and heart shapes and multi-colored daisies. This was followed by glow-in-the-dark Bi-Centennial motifs which brought our production to 300,000 pieces/year. In 1985 clear acrylics took over with raised lettering on clear lucite, followed by zinc die castings with electro-plated finishes. This led to metal stampings in aluminum and stainless steel in our current line.
Today B-E Industries has over 2000 graphic designs, tooling for 100 different shapes and the ability to produce a full range of PMS and RAL color finishes. Each year we try to introduce at least 10-15% new product designs to capture changing trends long before overseas suppliers become aware of them.
